Friday

Georgie came home on wednesday afternoon and has been Ok. She battled off another round of whatever it is she has been fighting in hospital without any real intervention ie no anti biotics etc. We had long talks with drs which are very draining and against some predictions she pulled through again. She is just not ready to go anywhere that is all there is to it. She is in the Lord's hands and we trust Him as her Father so we must just be resolved that He has these things in His hands for whatever reason. Still we pray. I think we have almost learnt what it is to pray continually, even though sometimes it is not much more than a "Lord; Georgie..."
Took her for a walk yesterday evening - in the wheelchair. (I have to add this as a girl from school thought I meant Georgie was walking by herself and told her whole class!) If only.
"The Lord is faithful.... He will strengthen and protect you".
2 Thessalonians 3:3.

Monday afternoon

Hi went in to see Georgie this afternoon and she was pretty calm and peaceful.
Nurses said "I think she's rallied again".
Head nurse said "don't worry she does this!" She is the most unphased person and so cool and never seems to tire of us turning up with Georgie on heaven's doorstep time and again.
She still has a bit of a temp but is tolerating feeds again pretty well so possibly come home again in a day or two.

Monday

Georgie went into hospital on Thursday afternoon after becoming really unstable.
She probably has several infections and who knows what else.
She is up and down and it has been a case where she could go either way.
Drs say at times she is deteriorating then at others she is rallying etc. then we were told she may be sent home. We really don't know.

Monday 9th

Just rang Ange who said Georgie had a really good day.

Hi there a quick update. Georgie been at home again since last saturday. She has had a few ups and downs and been less stable than normal. Things are not really right and we don't know just why or what it is.
Her care has been very constant of late. (ie day and night)
