What a beautiful day to be out in God's glorious countryside! We had 70mm of rain over the weekend and many dams - and even spots where there aren't dams are brim full of fresh water. Pastures are coming away. Stock are looking better and there are turtles out wandering on the roads and frogs everywhere. Every thing is coming to life again. Some farmers further north are saying they think the drought is broken for them anyway. (This is despite all of the weather forecasts for el nino that I sit in on at work.)
Ange is back for her 2nd day of teaching at Wellington Christian school today. She really enjoyed the first day and is enjoying going over some old agriculture stuff for her classes. So praise God He is blessing us. (He always is, but some types of His blessings are easier to swallow than others if you know what i mean)
Georgie went OK yesterday and seems to be still holding her own. She had a temp at about 5am this morning which came down once we attended to her.
Psalm 18 v 16 "The Lord reached down from above and took hold of me; He pulled me out of the deep waters"
Praise God for each new morning:
ReplyDelete"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him." The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord". Lamentations3:22-26
